A foundation screen of shrubbery is required for all Briar Chapel homes. If a tree dies, you must replace it. If you want to remove shrubs or trees, you will need to get approval from Briar Chapel through a Design Review Request.
The Briar Chapel Design Guidelines contain recommendations for trees and shrubs, pages 50-52. Non-native, invasive species are banned and are listed in the Briar Chapel Covenants.
When replanting the same tree in the same spot you do not need to submit an application in DRC. If you wish to use a different tree from the approved list and/or replant in a different location, you will need to submit a DRC application.
