Yard Waste Pickup: Bland Landscaping collects on Thursdays
Place by the curb: Wednesday evening
Yard waste bags should be placed neatly at the curb. Only place organic yard debris in the paper bags set at the curb. Avoid mixing trash with yard debris. Do not include rocks, large roots, or construction materials. Bland is happy to pick up bags containing mulch or soil, but please do not fill bags to the top. Overfilled bags may tear during pickup. Acceptable items:
- Leaves
- Grass clippings
- Small branches and twigs
- Plant trimmings
Large amounts of yard waste should be taken to Chatham County Solid Waste and Recycling Center’s main facility in Pittsboro. There is a small fee.
